However, NISM Series VIII alone does not qualify you to become a SEBI-registered Investment Adviser (RIA).
For Investment Adviser registration, the applicable certification requirements are separate. SEBI’s investor guidance states that Investment Advisers must obtain the prescribed NISM Series X-A and X-B Investment Adviser certifications and obtain SEBI registration before offering investment-advisory services.
