IMPORTANT POINTS TO CONSIDER:

  • It is very essential to carry the insurance certificate issued by the insurance company and check it’s validation for the expected travel days before traveling.
  • The insured should make a call on the toll-free numbers before admission in any hospital.
  • Deductibles should also keep in mind. It is the payment made by the insured himself to the hospital, not borne by the insurance company. For instance, a hospitalization claim arises of $1000, while you (the insured) were in the USA. Insurance Company paid $900 (90%) to the hospital, remaining $100 would be paid by the insured himself.
  • Maximum coverage is 180 days for a single trip.
  • Insurance Company shall be informed regarding extension of the trip, as well.
